Warranty Policy
CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY ARE APPLICABLE IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY.
WEP TOOLS provides a twelve (12) month warranty from the date of first purchase for all WEP® products purchased on www.weptools.com with exceptions to parts (all warranted parts are specified below) that are subject to intended wear during normal use. This warranty is not transferable including the exclusive warranty extensions issued by WEP TOOLS during special events.
Warranty Coverage Duration:
WEP TOOLS warrants the following parts of the product for the below-specified duration starting from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover parts that may fail due to misuse and/or mishandling,
- Main unit: Twelve (12) months
- Heating element: Twelve (12) months
- Blower motor: Twelve (12) months
- Stepper motor: Twelve (12) months
- Sensor modules: Twelve (12) months
Warranty Duration Extension
WEP TOOLS is the sole party authorized to issue warranty extensions in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective special events. All recipients of the warranty extension receive a unique warranty extension confirmation letter(or e-mail).
Excluded from the Guarantee are:
- WEP® or non-WEP® products not purchased from weptools.com
- Defects caused by the use of non-WEP® components, parts, or accessories.
- Defects caused by adjustment, repair, modification, or dismantling by a person not authorized by WEP®.
- Any products or parts that have a limited natural life or which are consumable, such as but not limited to soldering iron tips, activated carbon filters, desoldering filter chambers, desoldering nozzles, hot air nozzles, tip cleaners, cleaning sponges, fuses, and others alike)
- Defects resulting from failure to use the product in accordance with the Instruction manual or the technical and/or safety standards of the country where the product is used;
- Defects caused by accident, fire, neglect, misuse, wear and tear, improper use, improper installation, introduction of liquid or other foreign matter into the product or occurring during transportation to or from the purchaser;
- Second-hand products and auction products.
WEP TOOLS warranty fulfillment shall be limited to partially or fully replacing or repairing the product deemed defective. All labor costs incurred for the specific product repair will be covered by WEP TOOLS. WEP TOOLS reserves the right to examine any product to determine if the product had failed due to a defect in material or workmanship. All warranty claims must comply with the warranty fulfillment procedure as indicated below.
Warranty Fulfillment Procedure
In order for WEP TOOLS to fulfill the warranty claims, all claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty coverage duration starting from the date of purchase.
In the unlikely event your product fails, initiate your warranty claim request by sending an email following the below format to cs@weptools.com
- Original purchase order ID
- Product model name
- Issue description
- Illustration of the issue (photos/videos are accepted)
Limitations of Liability
IN NO EVENT WILL WEP TOOLS BE LIABLE TO THE USER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF WEP TOOLS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED HEREIN, OUR LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION, WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF THE AMOUNT PAID, IF ANY, BY YOU TO US. CERTAIN STATE LAWS AND INTERNATIONAL LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS
